SSC CGL Notification 2023 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the SSC CGL 2023 exam, the candidate must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
Age Limit
The candidate must be between 18 and 32 years of age as on 1st January 2023. However, age relaxation is provided to candidates belonging to certain categories.
Educational Qualification
The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university. The educational qualification required for different posts under the SSC CGL exam varies.
Nationality
The candidate must be a citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962.
SSC CGL Exam 2023 Selection Process
- Selection will be based on performance in Tier-1, Tier-2, Tier-3, and Tier-4 examinations.
- Tier-1 and Tier-2 will be computer-based exams.
- Tier-3 will be from pen-paper mode.
- There will be a Tier-4 Skill Test.

- Tier IV of the SSC CGL 2023 exam consists of the Skill Test/Computer Proficiency Test. The skills being assessed include Data Entry Speed Test (DEST) and Computer Proficiency Test (CPT). The candidates will be evaluated based on their proficiency in handling data entry tasks and computer operations.
SSC Notification 2023 Application Process
- Candidates first visit the official website ssc.nic.in.
- The SSC homepage will appear where you can enter your login credentials, solve the captcha and log in.
- After logging in, now click on the “Apply Now button-SSC CGL”.
- Go to the SSC CGL Notification 2023 and click on the “Apply Now” button.
- Thereafter, you will be taken to the SSC CGL Exam Application Form, fill in all the required documents and details, and choose your exam center.
- After the final submission, SSC will not give you a chance to change the details.
- Now, You can upload the photograph and signature as per the requirement.
- Once all the details are filled in, you can complete the application by paying the application fee online.
SSC CGL Notification 2023 Result
The result of the SSC CGL 2023 exam will be declared on the official website after the successful completion of each tier. Candidates can check their result by entering their roll number and other required details. The merit list will be prepared based on the performance of the candidates in all tiers of the examination.
